Happy Thanksgiving to you! I hope all of you had a wonderful time during this Thanksgiving holiday and you were able to spend some quality time with your family. I always enjoy time off as I love to take trips and take little excursions around the area were I live. I often discover new fabulous places to eat or check out some exhibits in the nearby museums.
So it was no different this week that we have ventured out to DC to check out the American History museum which had on display the gowns First Ladies had worn during inauguration. I can not tell you how excited I was to see those. Here are some pictures I took over this weekend.
We have stopped by
Oyamel to enjoy some Mexican food. If you get the opportunity try their grilled cactus or refried beans. Often the simplest of things taste the best.
We couldn't resist their gauc.
And here are their amazing tacos.
After I searched in a few Starbucks locations I was finally able to claim my Alice and Olivia tumbler. Coffee and tea will now have a festive outfit.
I have some new Micheal Kors shoes that I have wanted now for a while, but couldn't decide on buying. I finally broke down and got these this past weekend. I tested them today on my trip to DC and must say that, as expected, not only did they look fabulous but were very comfortable.
Among many I have used these two nail polish colors and this
JCrew neckless has made my casual outfits more festive. They are all perched on a
BCBG clutch.
What have you been up to this weekend?
