My week through the Iphone lens #2

Happy New Year to you all! I hope you have had a pleasant start into the new year. A new year always rings in new opportunities. It provides us with a clean slate and the option to do everything we wished for and planned on doing in years past.
I for one have decided to finally take the plunge and start taking interior design classes. You are sure to see some more decorating ideas on my blog. I will be sharing some more life & style posts. I hope that some of my ideas and thoughts will touch on the things that you are thinking about as well. Let me know what you would like to see more of.
I know I have wanted to be more active this past year on my blog. I have broken many promises I had made to myself, but I hope that this year I can finally commit to this blog fully. I know it will help me share my design inspirations with you. I would love to hear your feedback! One of my assignments this year will be to decorate a room, I picked a bedroom. So, I will be sharing some tips and some interesting finds I come across. Make sure to stick around I am confident you will find it useful. I hope you will enjoy this journey with me this year.
(Also, stay tuned for a blog redesign!) There are many exciting things coming this year. I am looking forward to all the things this year is bringing and will be welcoming all the challenges.
Remember, don't be afraid to follow your dreams, mistakes are always better than regrets!
Now, what has been happening the past few weeks:

Since the weather cooperated for a few days we made a short day trip to DC. There are so many monuments and great museums in the DC and many of them are free! Don't miss out on the opportunity to see what the nation's capital has to offer. Here we have walked around the Mall and stopped by the DC Monument and Martin Luther King impressive monument of his legacy.

Here are some recent favorite jewelry pieces, my J Crew necklace and the Swarovski ring I got for my birthday. Next photo shows some products I have been using recently, among others Nars, Benefit, YSL, Rose Bud Salve. What have you been up to this week?
