The s"hop with me" posts are probably some of my favorites as I get to take you guys on a store tour. I hope that from time to time you are spotting some items that you like as much as I do and you get inspired to decorate your home in a pretty way and surround yourself with items that make you happy and reflect who you are.
This time around I have stopped by Ikea. I didn't really shop for anything particular outside of some inspiration how to organize a busy home office.
Probably my favorite area of the store is where they fit an entire apartment of living room, kitchen, office and bedroom into a space of 395 square feet. I'm just in love with how they decorate the space.
What about you? Do you have a favorite that you gravitate towards in Ikea stores?
While I love spending time in Ikea the light definitely does not support iPhone photography. I hope that nevertheless you like what I came across.
I have always been a big fan of having a little library in a close proximity of your dining table. I like that this combination of shelves and table can look great in a private home or in an office environment. I really like the combination of yellow chairs against that chevron black carpet.
I love contemporary rooms, these "ghost" chairs are great clear furniture is always a nice option for smaller rooms. They give you a little more dimension and don't provide that cluttered feeling. And how cool is that light fixture above the table?
This is a room I would consider very traditional. I am not a big fan of this style, but understand that some people might like it. I enjoy how this somewhat modern wall unit was combined with a traditional style sofa and window treatments. This room arrangement is proof that Ikea not only offers contemporary furniture pieces, but can accommodate different styles and tastes.
Do you have a favorite Ikea room or item you have purchased from there? I would love to see it. Please share a link or comment belowLabels: furniture, furniture shopping, home decor shopping, home styling, how to decorate a home, Ikea
