My Skin Care Routine

Hello my lovely Glamistas! I hope you had a beautiful day. The sun was out, so I was happy! :)  It was yet one more day I didn't have to wear any heavy coats.
In today's post I will share some of my favorite skin care products. I have been using some of these for several years now. What can I say, if it ain't broke don't fix it.

Come on, you have to pamper yourself sometimes, a little rose and some candles never hurt nobody. ;)

(this is not a sponsored post or promoted post. I bought all the products with my own money)

Let me start by telling you that I have combination skin, meaning the t-zone tends to my oily and prone to shine. My cheeks get extremely dry. I always look for products that can accommodate my skin type. I discovered that despite the labeling many products  simply do not provide enough moisture to my cheeks, so my skin looks blotchy and make up looks dull.
Therefore, once I find something that works, I stick with it for ages. Now that we have this behind us, let's get down to the exciting stuff.

I always start out by cleansing my skin AM and PM. The product I use to remove all the make-up is Boscia Cleansing Gel, this is followed by Laura Mercier skin polish. It gets rid of all the dry and dead skin. Now the last product I use is the Boscia Tsubaki Cleansing Oil, I apply this oil to my skin with the Konjac Cleansing Clay Sponge. The combination of the two products is just amazeballs!
I have never used anything that made my skin so soft and smooth! I just love it.

Side Note: For those of you who are not familiar with Boscia, their products are paraben- and preservatives- free and "botanically" based. All products do not have any fragrance, so no alcohol was added which can dry out your skin as well. If you have combination skin, like me, you should definitely try this brand. I have been using them for years now. The Sponge and the cleansing oil have just recently been added to the line.

After all that cleansing and scrubbing is completed I typically apply my LaMer Eye Balm to the eye area. To me this stuff is a staple of my beauty routine. I use it in the morning and in the evening. I love how smooth it is and I think it helps with the sensitive skin in the eye area. My moisturizers are on constant rotation, especially during the colder months I am always on the look out for something to help my skin keep its elasticity. I hope that the cleansing oil will aid my skin during the heater months and support its moisture levels, this year.
Currently, I have been using the Lancome Multi Action cream. It has sunscreen, so it's an added bonus. The cream is very heavy in its consistency, but it's a great moisurizer.

I hope you enjoyed this little insight into my skin care routine. What other products do you recommend? Do you have a product that you totally swear by? I am looking forward to hearing from you about your favorites!
